Our Most Frequently Asked Questions
If you have a question that isn't answered below, please contact us.
Does laser hair removal hurt?
Our machine has the latest technology with a contact cooling sapphire tip. This cools and protects the skin on contact and throughout the treatment. You will however feel a pinching/flicking sensation but this is over in seconds. Due to the power of the Eneka, we only pass over each area once, allowing us to keep treatment times to a minimum.
How soon will I see results?
Results can be seen from the first session. These will include: patchy regrowth, slower hair growth and the hair becoming finer.

Please note results will vary for each individual.
How often do I need to come for a session?
This will all depend on the area being treated and how far into the course of sessions you are.

For example:
Legs - start at 8 week intervals

Underarm/ bikini - start at 6 week intervals

Face - start at 4 week intervals
How many sessions will I need?
On average 6-8 sessions will be required for optimal results of up to 90% hair reduction.

Please note the amount of sessions will vary for each individual due to hair and skin type and also other factors.
Can I still use sunbeds?
You must avoid all sun exposure for 4 weeks pre and post laser session.

On occasion you can be treated after a minimum of 10 days, however it is preferable to wait 4 weeks.
Can I have laser whilst pregnant?
Unfortunately you cannot have laser hair removal whilst pregnant.

It is also recommended to wait 3 months after giving birth before starting laser hair removal to allow time for your hormones to regulate properly.
What laser machine do you use?
We use the industry leading Eneka Pro diode laser machine. With 5 times more power than most other machines on the market.

A fantastic machine for fantastic results.
How does laser hair removal work?
The laser light is absorbed by the melanin (pigment) in the hair. The light travels down to the base of the hair follicle and is converted into heat.

This heats the hair follicle to around 70 degrees, in order to destroy the connection to the blood supply and the hair follicle which will result in preventing any further hair growth.
